LISTENING FOR ACADEMIC

hallo guys , Okay, in this journal I will discuss listening as usual, we have to record attendance because it is very important, after that we just do assignments, so in this quiz there are 10 multiple choice quizzes. I thought I was really not good at listening. because I am also still in the learning process so I have to listen to the audio over and over again while looking for the right answer so that when I open the quiz I can answer it right away and don't run out of time.    as usual we record attendance in syam ok then we go to google meetings, at google meetings we learn to train and improve our listening skills. To further practice our listening skills, our lecturer repeated last week's quiz by playing the audio from the quiz via Google Meet and we were asked to answer the questions. The material that we will discuss is about the similarity of sounds, hamonims and the same sound, the same spelling but different meanings.   hello everyone, so as usual this is about my course today. I think the quiz this time is more difficult, maybe because this time the number of quizzes is more than the previous one. Well, the quiz has 73 numbers. But i did not immediately do the task, because suddenly my aunt was admitted to the hospital and had to go to accompany her. After that, I only did my assignment, but it turned out that I had passed the deadline and could no longer be done. I sincerely apologize, because something happened suddenly , from now on I have to be on time in doing my assignments.

  Actually today I study as usual, but there is something different, by chance today my lecturer is sick and has to check up at the hospital, that's why he told us that the course must be replaced with the Listening course, when in fact the lecturer. same with different subjects. Today we do not have a meeting on google meet at all like the week before. we were only directed to the Syam.ok website to work on the two quizzes that had been provided.   learning starts around 9:30 am to 11:17 am on google meet. The lecturer explained about the use of capital letters that needed to be considered when doing quizzes in syam.ok, because there were so many mistakes in filling out the answers due to the use of capital letters that did not match the rules in a sentence. One of them is regarding the certificate, so we were told to fill in the certificate from syam ok. This is also one of the criteria for our high score and a value enhancer.  I will tell you about how i studied today. today is a little different, because today is a holiday we are only given the task to do 3 quizzes with a deadline until the 15th which falls on Monday. with enough time I used to do the quiz well and not rushed. I did the quiz with a time limit of a few hours. The thing that took me a long time to do the quiz was when I listened to the audio because I was a little weak in terms of listening. Listening is very important !! Because good listening skills also affect our level of speech. By listening, I can give good responses to the other person I'm talking to.Often when we listen to it, we can better understand other people. We were created with two ears and one mouth just to hear more than speak. I will continue to practice and hone my listening skills.
