LISTENING FOR ACADEMIC

  Actually today I study as usual, but there is something different, by chance today my lecturer is sick and has to check up at the hospital, that's why he told us that the course must be replaced with the Listening course, when in fact the lecturer. same with different subjects. Today we do not have a meeting on google meet at all like the week before. we were only directed to the Syam.ok website to work on the two quizzes that had been provided.   learning starts around 9:30 am to 11:17 am on google meet. The lecturer explained about the use of capital letters that needed to be considered when doing quizzes in syam.ok, because there were so many mistakes in filling out the answers due to the use of capital letters that did not match the rules in a sentence. One of them is regarding the certificate, so we were told to fill in the certificate from syam ok. This is also one of the criteria for our high score and a value enhancer.  I will tell you about how i studied today. today is a little different, because today is a holiday we are only given the task to do 3 quizzes with a deadline until the 15th which falls on Monday. with enough time I used to do the quiz well and not rushed. I did the quiz with a time limit of a few hours. The thing that took me a long time to do the quiz was when I listened to the audio because I was a little weak in terms of listening. Listening is very important !! Because good listening skills also affect our level of speech. By listening, I can give good responses to the other person I'm talking to.Often when we listen to it, we can better understand other people. We were created with two ears and one mouth just to hear more than speak. I will continue to practice and hone my listening skills.   In my opinion, it has been quite a while and it is still ongoing who knows how long this virus will come out of our lives. Getting bored with the same activities is like a friend who always accompanies me all the time. Without realizing it, we have come quite a lot and have entered the beginning of 2021. Today i opened syam ok at 10:15 to record attendance, after I recorded my attendance, I saw a notification that we entered the goggle meet at 10:50 a.m., and we were still waiting for other friends until 11.05, when the lesson started mam discussed about Microsoft 365 then after that we entered the discussion, namely we reviewed last week's lesson, I mean the assignment at Syam OK last week and Miss asked if there was a problem or had anything to ask and so on. After that we are done with Google Meet, we will continue to work on the task at Syam OK which deadline is 12.30pm. Today went well, even though I have other activities, but I can still manage it. maybe that's it for ...
